As a licensed clinical social worker, Colleen has dedicated many years of her life to public service.
Colleen has defended the rights of seniors, women, the homeless, and adults with severe mental illnesses and disabilities.
As a contract negotiator, she used her expertise to mediate a contract. It was acceptable to all in spite of funding cuts.
Client advocate and liaison between Monroe County Mental Health Authority, the county court system, municipal offices and job creating businesses.
Colleen taught classes at Monroe County Community College and led a research initiative at Women's Resource Center in Howell, Michigan
